From circular sunglasses to suspenders and heaps of other products made either to be worn or be used in creative ways, it seems that people can’t get enough of the ‘cool’ factor. While several of those products that come out every year are indeed designed to meet a specific requirement and solve some kind of a problem, others are simply useless and have no point other than looking nice and impressing your friends.
If you’re wondering what type of things people are looking for nowadays, we’ve compiled a list of some of the weirdest and, at the same time, coolest items that are rather popular with consumers these days.
Since it is one of those things that you’re likely to use every day, whether you like it or not, a toilet seat is an essential part of your life. Just make sure to sanitize it properly now and again, especially if you have roommates.
The trouble with most sets is that they’re made of plastic, are rather cold, white, and boring. Americans spend an average of thirty minutes in the bathroom, and since the day’s made of just twenty-four hours, that means a lot. Of course, if you’re actually using the toilet during those thirty minutes, you’re not analyzing it at the same time; that is, unless you’re some kind of gifted contortionist.
Novelty toilet seats are particularly popular with people with a great sense of humor. Some have funny messages printed on them while others are a bit on the classic side of things, with images of London, Paris, the sea world, cats, and anything else you might like. One of the weirdest things we came across is a Santa toilet seat cover and rug.
2. Cool socks
Other than your special someone, your close friends, or your family members, almost no one sees your socks on a daily basis. That doesn’t mean that they have to be boring. Some of the most eye-catching designs that we have come across range from socks made for book nerds to hardcore Star Wars aficionados. Pretty much any drawing or image can be printed on socks nowadays, but those that we liked the most Harry Potter socks.
3. Toilet roll holders
The trouble with toilet paper is that it rarely is beautiful to look at. Because most people purchase it in bulk, they have a hard time storing it properly or displaying it in the bathroom without it looking weird in comparison to all the other eye-catching designs.
A holder in the shape of a tree is great if you’re going for a more creative and somewhat nature-inspired look. The same goes for a model shaped like a giraffe, especially since this kind of item can also be found for kitchen towels.
