Angelina Jolie Makes Official Appearance In Cambodia For Film Premier

Angelina Jolie appeared at the Cambodia film promo following divorce from Brad Pitt with her children Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 10 and eight-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

The mother-of-six split from Brad Pitt last year in September. She adopted Maddox in 2002 from an orphanage in Battambang, Cambodia.

The 41-year-old was in simple black dress equipped with lace detailing on the shoulders at the premiere of her new film First They Killed My Father in Siem Reap. She directed the movie and credited it to Maddox who convinced her to make it after the project languished for years.

First They Killed My Father is set to be released on Netflix. It tells the story of war time experience of her friend and former refuge Cambodian Loung Un as a child.

She said, “I wanted to focus not just on the war but on the love of family and on the beauty of the country and in fact I wanted to understand what my son’s birth parents may have gone through.”

The actress added she wanted to know him better and also his country better too.

This is the second movie of Jolie on genocide after the Bosnian conflict in 2011.
