Apple Announces iPhone 6S, 6S Plus Instalment Plans

Apple launched its newest iPhone on Wednesday at an event in San Francisco. This time the iDevice giant has gone one step further to make the device more popular than the predecessors. It has come up with instalment plan.

About the pricing part the company said its iPhone 6S starts from $199 under two-year contract scheme and the iPhone 6S Plus to come at a tag of $299 on the same duration contract.

It is understood Apple is following the usual practise of people in the US, which is a custom of signing for a two-year contract with wireless carriers.

If you buy direct from Apple, you need to pay $27 to $31 a month for two years for any of the models. After completion of the 24 months the device will be owned by the consumer, but of course phone service fees will be added to it.

Meanwhile, Apple has also introduced a new iPhone Upgrade program. Consumers can by the iPhone 6S for a monthly payment that starts at $32.41 for the 16GB model and for the iPhone 6S Plus of 16GB the payment per month would be $36.58.

The pre-order of iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus starts from September 12.
