Apple has launched its iSight replacement programme and under this if your iPhone 6 Plus is snapping blurred pictures, you can replace the camera part.

The iDevice giant is just a month away from unveiling its next iPhone, and now has started recalling the 5.5-inch models after several complains of faulty cameras.

It is reported only a small percentage of the iPhone 6 Plus sold between September in 2014 and January this year were affected.

Owners of the big-sized smartphone can check the faulty camera with the help of the official support page of the company. They simply need to submit the serial number of the phone on the page and check the replacement eligibility. If notified eligible, the Apple Store will replace the camera on appointment.

The serial number can be found by first going to the ‘Settings’ and then to the ‘General’ category. Here need to tap on ‘About’ and the number will be displayed.

Before taking the device to the Apple Store or sending it off to tech support, it is highly suggested to take a back up the iPhone.

Apple has always claimed the camera of its iPhones is the most popular ones in the world. It is also speculated the next iPhone, probably to be named as iPhone 6S, to be mounted with further high-end camera.

If believed to Apple blogger John Gruber, the upcoming iPhone to come with two-lens system and may probably rival DSLR cameras.

The Michael Report blog writes the next camera of iPhone can record 4K video.
