We are just nine months away from the great announcement of Apple for the 10th anniversary of iPhone original and amid this rumors from the Asian supply chain are intensifying.
An unnamed supply chain sources said today three new models of iPhone are getting prepared to be launched in 2017. The two models, as we have in the current line up, are 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch phones. So, the third model could be sporting a 5-inch screen and it would come with dual-lens camera that is now found on the larger screen Plus model only.
One another source revealed the new medium model would only boast higher-end specs as well as a brand new edge-to-edge OLED screen even though all the three to be equipped with identical technology.
It is also learned only after the completion of second fiscal quarter ending March 2017 the company would be making a final decision on iPhone designs.
Meanwhile, the sales of iPhones dropped 13 percent this year and amid this it is not to forget the iPhone launched in September carried similar design of that launch a year ago.
Investors and analysts are now keeping hope of a major overhaul by Apple in 2017 to attract more upgraders and some are tagging it as a “super cycle” based on rumors including OLED screens and wireless charging capability.
