Bangladesh security officials are now searching for clues and criminal masterminds following bloody hostage crisis that killed 28 people including six attackers in capital city Dhaka.

Terror group men armed with grenade stated firing at a restaurant, popular with expatriates, diplomats and middle-class families, in diplomatic area of the city at around 9:15 p.m. local time on Friday.

Meanwhile, police has blocked all the roads leading to the Holey Artisan Bakeryz and released photographs of the bodies of five attackers along with their first names.

Police said the families of five attackers, Akash, Badhon, Bikash, Don and Ripon, didn’t have contact with them for several months.

According to Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan, the attackers belonged to rich families and had good educational background too.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said the rival political parties are creating chaos in Bangladesh by supporting domestic militants.

She added people believing in religion cannot give shape to such act and the attackers’ only religion is terrorism.

Eye witnesses said hostages in the stormed restaurant were asked to recite verses from Quran and failing which resulted with torture and killing.

Travel warnings have also been issued by western embassies to their citizens.
