British Prime Minister David Cameron is seeking to win the vote and urge lawmakers to airstrike in Syria against the Islamic State unlike the 2013’s of the same proposal in parliament when he lost it.

Cameron said Britain cannot subcontract its security to other countries amid high threats from terror groups. He released a 36-page document with plans in detail how to tackle the threat posed by the ISIS, and both diplomatically as well as militarily.

The PM added the ISIS is a threat to their national security and so they must take action as not dealing with them too carries grave risk.

Currently the air campaign is limited to Iraq. A parliamentary vote in 2013 rejected the proposal of bombing in Syria, attack of the forces of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

In the latest proposal Cameron has argued attacks on Syria will be legally justified on the grounds of self-defence.

Meanwhile, the government has not yet set a timetable for the vote, but it is believed to be considered over tne weekend and voting may take place by next week.
