British Man Hayden Cross From Gloucester Is First UK Pregnant Legal Male

A British man, who is though born as a girl but has been living like a man for past three years, has announced to have been four months pregnant from sperm donated by a man intimated on Facebook.

Hayden Cross is legally a male and was at an initial stage of hormone treatment. He approached the NHS to help if his eggs could be frozen and he can continue with his full gender change. His request was refused and he prioritized having baby first and then go ahead with the transition process, which will have his breasts and ovaries removed too.

The 20-year-old said, “I was happy but I also knew it would be backtracking on my transition… I wanted the kid now so that I can have the transition before I get old.”

The resident of Gloucester added the pregnancy is a very female thing and goes against everything he feels for this body.

The first man to get pregnant on record is American Thomas Beatle who carried a triplet in 2007. However, it led to the loss of all the three fetuses. Since then he has given birth to three children.

Beatle decided to become pregnant after his wife Nancy was learned to be infertile.

Born as Tracy Lehuanani LaGondino, the trans man had gender reassignment surgery in 2002. He is widely called as The Pregnant Man.
