Hillary Clinton Supporter, Former VP Al Gore Meets President-Elect Donald Trump

Widely campaigned for Hillary Clinton, former Vice President Al Gore visited Trump Tower on Monday to meet President-elect Donald Trump and to which he described the conversation was an extremely interesting.

Gore declined to say what the two leaders had discussed about during the meeting.

He also met Ivanka Trump, who usually talked about making climate change as one of her signature issues.

Briefing to the reporters about his visit later he said, “I had a lengthy and very productive session… It was a sincere search for areas of common ground.”

Gore added he felt good about the meeting and was happy to get an opportunity to exchange views with Donald Trump.

Praising Ivanka Trump for her commitment to climate change, Gore said her passion was evident during the meeting ahead of the discussion with Donald Trump.

Gore believes momentum of climate change issues is unstoppable and they will win, but it is yet not understood how fast and this is something really crucial.

Gore experienced unsuccessful 2000 presidential run and thereafter left public life. In the fight against human-caused climate change he is one of the best known crusaders.

In the final months of 2016 presidential race he campaigned for Hillary Clinton calling her to be the best candidate to combat global warming.

Donald Trump had called climate change a hoax earlier. He said it has been created by and for the Chinese.
