At some point in time, everyone suffers from back pain. The 2nd most universal neurological disorder in the U.S. is back pain, and headaches being number one. If you suffer from back pain, you should have it properly checked out by your doctor.

Here are some options for relief:

1. Try acupuncture. Studies have shown that acupuncture has long term and short term affects on reducing the pain from your back.
2. Try using capsaicin cream. Capsaicin comes from chili peppers. When you apply it to areas of pain it is found that it helps to deplete pain and replaces it with an analgesic effect. This cream can be found in your local drug stores or health food stores.
3. Using vitamin D helps. Studies have found that vitamin D deficiency has been a cause for chronic muscle pain. Exposing yourself to more sunlight, drinking milk, and or taking a vitamin D supplement may help reduce your back pain.
4. Increase your vitamin B12 intake. People who have taken vitamin B12 have shown a significant minimization in their pains throughout their body.
5. Start doing Yoga. Doing yoga helps create balance, flexibility, and strength. There was a study done on a group of people with chronic back pain and after 16 weeks of practicing and learning yoga they had a significant amount of relief from the intensity of their back pain and they relied on less pain medication.
