There are two categories of fat people. First are those who gain weight mostly in the lower area of the body and the remaining ones who gain weight in the upper torso. The second category people are most likely to face diseases such as heart attack and diabetes.

What is Six Packs

Abdominal muscles are called six packs. A person is said to have six packs when his muscles are separately noticeable under the skin. This happens when abs split and distinct. A person, who has such abs is said to be living a healthy life; he/she is consuming a healthy diet which contains low fats and he/she exercises regularly.

Summer is on its way and nobody wants to be laughed at when he is playing beach volleyball and swimming. People mostly take advice from doctors and physicians on the correct process of losing body fat and weight. The advice they receive is to exercise regularly and eat healthy. Doing so practically is not as easy as it seems.

Balanced and Healthy Diet

When people hear of diet, the first thing that comes to their mind is starving. Starving cannot help you lose weight. To lose weight, you need to consume fat burning diet. Your diet should be rich in proteins to burn calories. To lower your waist size you need to lower the consumption of refined carbohydrates. It is better to eat more than 3 times a day and eat less. This will help to correct the metabolism rate. You can obtain energy by consuming more fibers such as: vegetables and fruits.

Six Packs and Exercise

To lose weight and to obtain a well shaped body one has to start exercising. Exercising for 15 to 30 minutes per week will not help a lot. You need to exercise at least 3 to 6 times a week and for 25 to 60 minutes after each break. Your exercise plan should include: cardiovascular exercises, aerobics and strength training. Weight loser’s main goal is to increase the metabolism rate. Easy exercises cannot get you six pack abs.
