Malia Obama Landed Internship With Producer Harvey Weinstein

Malia Obama, elder daughter of outgoing United States President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama, is reported to have landed an internship with famed producer Harvey Weinstein.

If believed to The Hollywood Reporter and The New York Post, the 18-year-old may start up working in the New York City office of The Weinstein Co. from next month following end of Palm Springs vacation of the First Family.

The First Lady earlier in 2012 said her elder daughter has expressed some interest in film-making and the latest gig of Malia should come as no surprise.

Malia took a year of gap after her graduation and it is learned she would attend this fall the Harvard University.

Meanwhile, father Obama will be working on his presidential library and to be setting up a foundation and write a book.

In one of his recent interviews he said, “I’m not going to Wall Street… The amount of time that I’ll be investing in issues is going to be high. But it’ll be necessarily in a different capacity.”

The younger daughter of Barack, Sasha Obama, is currently in high school in Washington, D.C.

Michelle is now working on a memoir.
