The Trump administration seems to be tough even more on immigration. A pair of memos was released on Tuesday that outlined the aggressive enforcement of immigration laws. Experts believe if muscle and money are used by White House behind the policies, millions of deportations will take place.

The changes are equipped with narrower approach compared to what former President Barack Obama outlined and only the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) will be inherited.

DACA is a program to allow people who entered United States illegally as children for the purpose of staying like one who came for studies or to work here.

However, the White House said ultimately DACA too will be eliminated.

Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly signed the memos on Friday and it reflects thousands of new agents will be hired by the immigration enforcement to apprehend those who are living illegally in the US.

Immigrant advocates said it signals mass-deportation program to start soon and this will tear families apart.

A data reveals the program could affect up to 8 million people.

Executive director of the National Immigration Law Center, Marielena Hincapié, such blueprint of mass deportation was never seen in past many years.

White House press secretary Sean Spicer said, “Those people who are in this country and pose a threat to our public, or have committed a crime, will be the first to go, and we will be aggressively making sure that that occurs.”
