Nigeria Arrests Four Including Chinese Nationals For Operating Fake Visa Office

Nigerian police have arrested four people including two of Chinese national for operating a fake embassy in Lagos state. During the raid the authorities have recovered 25 international passports, ten laptops, screw driver, 5 phones and paper documents as well from the suspects.

Superintendent of Police Dolapo Badmus has urged the people to be way of such visa agents and should apply directly to the Embassies who wish to travel out of Nigeria to seek greener pastures.

The four arrested were Liu Honyang, 47, Sun Xinai, 49, Oriyomi Olawale, 47 and Desmond Chinedu, 25. They were operating from Golden Point Hotel and Suite on Duduyemi Street in Ejigbo.

The Rapid Response Squad team of the country acted on reports from victims and led to operatives lodging in the hotel for several days to keep a watch on the suspects and their activities.

Immediately after the arrest news of the four men several victims walked into RRS’s Headquarters to recount their duped stories who were rounded up landing in Trinidad and Tobago with fake visas to further attempt landing in the United States even after paying huge money. They were deported back to the country later.

Meanwhile, police is also hunting other agents and collaborators who were involved in the fake visa racket with these four men.
