Paris Games Week: Sony To Re-Release PS1 & 2 Classics To PlayStation 4

Last month Sony rolled out firmware update 3.0 for its top selling PlayStation 4 gaming console and before the upcoming fourth firmware update it is looking for what new features gamers can get.

The new features being planned by the gaming giant includes releasing once again the classic games which were popular during the days of PlayStation 1 and PlayStation 2 for the PS4 console.

Sony also hinted today at the Paris Games Week (PGW) a feature bringing the ability of users to change their PlayStation Network IDs is also to be introduced with the next update for PlayStation 4.

Paris Games Week (PGW) is scheduled to be kicked off tomorrow, October 28, and to conclude on Sunday, November 1. Sony briefed the media today during the PGW press conference in the city.

Earlier, Sony had sent a poll to several PlayStation 4 owners as a part of their feedback program called PlayStation Voice. The survey, posted on gaming-centric forum NeoGAF asks for the re-release of PlayStation 1 and PlayStation 2 classics for PS4 and also to allow them to change the PlayStation Network IDs.

Considering the feedback, Sony has hinted to be implementing these two features along with some other interesting and useful ones.
