Traveling to Britain after Brexit may become cheaper as the British pound has been recorded to its lowest in about three decades and this will offer a discount on prices to American travelers.

Also, after the Brexit the dollar improved slightly against euro, making travel cheaper to euro countries.

Editorial director of Frommer’s guidebooks and website, Pauline Frommer, said the pound has dropped by 10 percent and it is only good news for the buyers.

He added travel now could be inconvenient as longer customers lines could be faced when flying into Britain.

The minister said further, “Right now, when you go to, say, London, you arrive at Heathrow, there’s one line for everyone in the E.U. and there’s one line for everyone else.”

UK managing director of Travelzoo, Joel Brandon-Bravo, said the currency is undergoing shock and travelers are suggested to book when they think the pound has reached to the lowest.

According to Airfarewatchog president George Hobica, the airfare has started falling and in most of the destinations it has been reduced to $500 round-trip.

He suggests to re-book at better price as the exchange rates have fallen after Brexit.

There won’t be significant changes in coming months and so it is great time to take advantage of the exchange rate, said experts.
