The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, was gifted an exceptionally meaningful piece of necklace by royal sibling Pipa Middleton in 2013 when she gave birth to Prince George.

She is highly lucky person in the United Kingdom to wear some of the most valuable jewelry in the world. Her husband Prince William had gifted her priceless engagement ring earlier and on a regular basis was loaned with variety of Queen’s crowns, tiaras and necklaces.

The Morror reported the younger Middleton bought a Merci Maman necklace for her. Since Princess Diana gave birth to Kate’s husband Prince William the necklace gifting tradition has continued.

The new necklace feature a gold-placed disc on which the words “George Alexander Louis” is inscribed. A smaller charm alongside is engraved with a letter “W” for William and it is in the shape of a little boy.

Princess Diana gave birth to Prince William in 1982 and her husband Prince Charles gifted a similar necklace that included the word “William” in front, engraved.

Diana always use to wear the gold pendant close to her heart.
