The search for new co-host on “Live” has come to an end after about a year and Ryan Seacrest will be filling the vacant position to company Kelly Ripa.

The former “American Idol” host emerged from backstage on Monday bringing stability to the ABC morning show. He is a kind human being and a seamless broadcaster for whom the 46-year-old Ripa said can take the show into future.

The audience cheered learn Seacrest is the new permanent co-host of Ripa, who has helmed the show with rotating guest co-hosts for past one year when Michael Strahan left to join “Good Morning America.”

Seacrest said he will be moving from Los Angeles to New York to host the talk show, but he will not be giving up his radio gig either.

This mean the master Hollywood multitasker will also be on the radio every day. On weekdays he will be hosting “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” and on weekends on “American Top 40.”

The 42-year-old is also the executive producer of the entire E! Kardashian empire along with some other shows like “Shades of Blue” of Jennifer Lopez on NBC.

About her show Ms Ripa said, “It’s always interesting to me when people try to pit us against other shows… We don’t compare ourselves to anybody because we are the only ones who do what we do.”
