Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ were rumored to be released on April 21, but here’s a disappointing news for all those who are highly waiting for the devices. A source has revealed the release date has been pushed back to April 28.

VentureBeat writes the new date is not technically a delay as Samsung has never before announced the phone officially, but leaks and rumors backed up the April 21 date.

However, the source didn’t reveal reason of delay.

Meanwhile, Samsung is learned to be unveiling both the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ in New York at the Unpacked event later this month.

Samsung may pair up the unveiling with Gear VR headset too.

Rumors suggest the Galaxy S8 sports a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display and the bigger sibling to come with a 6.2-inch screen. Both the devices are equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor and 4GB of RAM. The two flagships to come with Androind 7.0 and internal storage of 64GB.
