United States President Donald Trump said Tuesday Japan and South Korea will be allowed to buy more sophisticated equipment from them. This mean the previous restrictions will be lifted on South Korean missile payloads.

The move of Trump comes after Sunday’s nuclear test by North Korea and tensions rising in the region fearing war may take place. It is weighed amid several military, economic and diplomatic responses.

Meanwhile, German Chancellor Angela Merkel too condemned earlier today the latest nuclear test of North Korea while speaking to the German parliament saying the act is a flagrant violation of international conventions and urging to comply more towards diplomatic and peaceful solution of the crisis.

A day before she is learned to have talked to Trump to discuss the North’s provocation.

Russian President Vladimir Putin too called for talks with North Korea during a news conference in China. He also condemned the nuclear test earlier but withdrawing any support to more sanctions by United States citing those to be useless and ineffective.

Japanese lawmakers on the other hand are demanding United Nations sanctions on North Korea and urging the government to push for tougher punishment against Pyongyang.
