The United States President Donald Trump didn’t want to become the president reveals a book titled ‘Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House’ and written by Michael Wolff.

The book adds Trump’s goal was not to win the presidential election and after the surprising electoral victory, the First Lady Melania Trump was in tears knowing it and not out of joy.

Wolff said Trump was able to take up “something like a semi-permanent seat on a couch in the West Wing.”

He added that the idea of such seat was encouraged by Trump himself as no one could approve or deny such access then.

After entering White House the president just had few ideas about how to convert vitriol and themes into policy, and suggesting to him was complicated.

The writer added Trump didn’t process information in a conventional sense and some believed him to be semi-literate who trusted his own expertise more than others’.

Wolff conducted interviews and conversations for about one-and-a-half year with Trump and most of the senior staff of his after he became president. He found the president’s own behavior contributed to dysfunction and chaos in the White House.

Trump had ordinary political life and emerged as the most victorious candidate.

The White House meanwhile had described the book as “trashy tabloid fiction.”
