A group of about 350 migrants entered southern Mexico forcefully from Guatemala by breaking the locks of border gate and joined larger group of about 2,000 migrants in the country, said Mexican authorities.

Nationalities of the group have not yet been identified but it is learned they could be from Central America.

Similar situation was also seen in 2018 by the migrants at the same border gate.

The group of 350 joined the migrants walking toward Tapachula and one of them said is seeking to have a treatment in the US for being HIV positive for about sixteen years.

There are several groups in Mexico who are looking ahead to enter US, but are frustrated at the policy of Mexico for slowing down the process or stopping them completely by handing out humanitarian aid and exit visas as well.

Presently thousands of migrants from Cuba, Africa and Central America are waiting for documentations at the immigration offices in Mexico and breaking down of windows at the offices out of frustration has become common.

Earlier this year Washington said to be processing just 20 immigrants a day at the San Ysidro port of entry.
