Scotland police has tightened security in London for the New Year Eve celebration and urged people to be alert and report to police and other authorities if suspicious activity is seen.

Over 3,000 police is learned to be patroling the streets of United Kingdom capital on New Year’s Eve amid mounting up of a major operation to keep revellers safe.

It is learned security plans have been adjusted in the wake of past two lorry attacks in Nice and Berlin.
