Chemicals giant E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company (NYSE:DD) recently declared that it has completed the separation of its Performance Chemicals segment from side to side the spin-off of The Chemours Company. Chemours begins “regular way” trading today on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “CC”. Today DuPont common stockholders receive one share of common stock of Chemours for every five shares of DuPont common stock they held at 5:00 p.m. ET on June 23. Stockholders will receive cash in lieu of fractional shares of Chemours. Shares of E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company (NYSE:DD) opened at $61.18 with 905.24 million outstanding shares and hit to its highest price of $61.21 during the day and finally closed at $59.99 by scoring -2.34%.

China Information Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:CNIT) declared its board has formed a special committee to consider the non-binding “going private” offer that the Board received from the firm’s Chairman and CEO, Jianghuai Lin and three other individuals. Under the offered contract, the buyer Group intends to acquire all of the outstanding ordinary shares of the company not currently owned by the Group. The Special Committee consists of three independent, disinterested directors of the company. The Special Committee intends to retain independent legal and financial advisors to assist in the process. On the other consideration, China Information Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:CNIT) begun last trade with a price of $3.35 and throughout the trading session climbed at $3.37. The day-trade ended with a loss of -4.62% to close at $3.30.

U.S. fertilizer group, CF Industries Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:CF) decided to purchase the remaining 50% equity interest in GrowHow UK Ltd. From Norwegian peer Yara International ASA (YARIY) for total cash consideration of $580M. CF Industries has now decided to purchase out Yara’s interest in the 50/50 joint venture operating the GrowHow production units in Britain that was formed in 2010. “We are pleased to announce this agreement to acquire Yara’s interest in GrowHow. The operations have an advantaged position in an import-dependent region. We know GrowHow well and expect a mid-teens return profile for the acquisition, CF President and CEO Tony Will said in a statement. CF Industries Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:CF) stock hit highest price at $65.55, beginning with a price of $65.46 to close at 64.54 by a loss of -0.86% with a day range of $64.45-$65.55. The total market capitalization remained 15.19 Billion.
