The full robe and cowl clad woman told to WLS-TV she was asked to leave the store by lady security guard when she wanted to buy charcoal for a family barbeque as she refused to remove cover from her face.

Safi recorded the incident on her cell phone.

The woman added she always wears the garb for religious purposes whenever she goes out and also persisted reminding the manager of the store of protections under the US Constitution.

She said, “I understand but you have to understand, too, this is a high crime area and we get robbed a lot. You need to remove that from your face or remove yourself from the store.”

In the video the manager is seen asking Safi to leave or else to call the police and an employee accompanied her to the exit saying her to have a blessed day.

Safi mentioned while talking to WLS she was upset with the discrimination behavior of the store.

Safi wrapped up saying she is really saddened with the incident as she has been born in America and raised all her life in the country too.
