Apple To Launch 4-Inch iPhone 5se This March

The next foray into Apple’s iPhone design is said to be smaller. It could be a four incher and to be enhanced with a special edition dubbed as iPhone 5se.

According to Mark Gurman from 9to5Mac the smartphone may be released by March.

An u-turn towards smaller device suggests the iDevice giant believes there remains a niche for such devices too apart from it pushing out its larger smartphones lately finding those to be popular with competitors.

It is said a four-inch iPhone may make such people happy who have small hands or smaller pockets. Also, lately Apple is experimenting with smaller gadgets too including wearable technology.

There is greater expectation from wearable technology as Apple has popularized existing technologies four times. In 1984 it came with Macintosh computer, in 2001 the company developed the iPod, in 2007 it launched iPhone, and in the 2010 it released the iPad. So, Apple Watch is pointing towards a broader story.

The experiment with size and function is not limited to Apple. Microsoft too has advertised its 12-inch Surface Pro 3 saying a tablet that can replace laptop. The device was rated top by PC Magazine.
