Bolt Missed Rio Opening Ceremony Parade; Claims Being Lazy

The Jamaican took to Snapchat shortly before the opening ceremony kicked off revealing he would not be attending the Athletes’ Parade.

He wrote in two short messages, “Opening Ceremony time but I won’t be there people, all the busses are out… Looks like the whole squad is out, road movements. One big lazy par me den pon today, no movement for me.”

In the London 2012 Olympics Bolt carried Jamaica’s flag.

Even though Bolt claims he was feeling lazy to move, but it is being speculated to have declined the parade as earlier he had been mobbed by his fellow Olympians frequently.

In July he was forced to pull out of the Jamaica National Championships due to hamstring injury. Later he approached Dr Hans Muller-Wohlfahrt in Germany to get fit before the Olympic Games.

At the Maracana Stadium Bolt’s fellow sprint star Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce led the team.

She was won two silvers and one gold at the London 2012 Olympics.

Meanwhile, Twitter and other social media was flooded about “Where is Bolt” immediately when the team paraded.
