BREAKING: Bill Paxton Dies At 61

American actor and director William Bill Paxton passed away Saturday due to complications from surgery. He is survived by two children, James and Lydia Paxton, and wife Louise Newbury. He was 61.

Born on May 17, 1955, in Fort Worth, Texas, the ‘Twister’ and ‘Aliens’ actor started his Hollywood career working on films in the art department. For his work in the TV mini-series Hatfields and McCoys he was nominated for an Emmy. He has given several blockbuster movies including Aliens in 1986 and Terminator in 1984.

In the 1990s he rose to fame with some of his striking rols including treasure hunter Brock Lovett in Titanic in 1997, his lead role in Twister in 1996, Fred Haise in Apollo 13 in 1995 and Morgan Earp in Tombstone.
