A car bomb detonated outside the CARE NGO gates in Afghan capital Kabul. It killed one and injured six others.

Afghan Ministry of the Interior released a statement revealing the attackers were wearing suicide vests.

The statement added there were three suicide bombers in the explosives-laden vehicle that attacked the organization in Shar Naw area.

The attacked NGO is a part of the CARE global network that works for defeating poverty, saving lives and achieve social justice.

The mission of CARE aims to have a special focus on the rights of women and girls.

It is learned about two attackers entered the compound after the explosion but they were killed by special forces. Forty-two people were rescued from the place.

A day before three blasts rocked Kabul killing more than twenty people and injuring 100 others.

For months the city has been plagued by a spate of deadly bombings.

Taliban terrorists have taken credit for Monday’s first two explosions.

In recent weeks the terror group has hit other high-profile foreign targets too in Afghanistan including campus of the American University of Afghanistan in Kabul.
