Freezing fog will grip several areas of Britain and much of the places to face temperature between -5C and -7C.

According to Met Office, the frosty conditions will persist into next week and hazardous driving conditions could be seen during the rush hour on Monday and Tuesday.

The most affected areas will be southern parts of England and Wales. Fog will struggle to clear in west and north London, the Midlands and south Wales as well.

Meteorologist at the Met Office, Mark Wilson, said about one or two fog patches should be seen on Sunday night.

He added, “Both mornings (Monday and Tuesday) we could see some impact on rush-hour traffic, if we do see those very dense fog patchs.”

However, England will not get the worst of the chilly weather.
