First lady Melania Trump called it as cowardly actions for the anonymous author who penned the op-ed article in New York Times about negative aspects of President Donald Trump and the process how he could be stripped of the powers and duties by using 25th Amendment.

Releasing a statement she said, “If a person is bold enough to accuse people of negative actions, they have a responsibility to publicly stand by their words and people have the right to be able to defend themselves.”

She added author of the critical article is sabotaging the country with his or her cowardly actions and not protecting United States.

Ahead of her statement there has been unleashed wave of fury from Trump to the article that depicted him as dangerously amoral. He called the author “gutless” and called to be turned over to the government.

However, her tone was different from Trump for free speech unlike referring to fake news media and restrictions on the press. She said, “Freedom of speech is an important pillar of our nation’s founding principles and a free press is important to our democracy… press should be fair, unbiased and responsible.”

Usually Mrs. Trump’s spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham issues statements on her behalf, but the latest press release came direct from the First Lady herself.

She said if someone is bold to accuse people of negative actions, the person should have the responsibility to stand by the words publicly and enjoy the right to defending.
