Former CIA acting director alleges Pakistan is most dangerous country

Former CIA acting director Michael Morell said alleged Thursday that Pakistan is one of the most dangerous countries in the world.

In a podcast discussion with Rich Verma and Kurt Campbell he said the country has created terrorist groups for being tool in the struggle against India.

Campbell is the former Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian Affairs while Verma is the former US Ambassador to India.

Verma currently hosts The Tealeaves Podcast of the Asia Group.

Morell further added that Pakistan and other such countries fails to realize that keeping terrorist group under control are impossible and later the terror outfits bites back.

He played key role in the raid of Abbottabad to kill al-Qaeda chief 9/11 mastermind Osama bin Laden in a safe house in Pakistan.

He said, “I believe that Pakistan, at the end of the day, may be the most dangerous country in the world.”

He said the population of Pakistan is exploding and its economy is going nowhere. The country will fail to provide jobs to young people and education system is literally broken too.

While being deputy head in the CIA during Obama administration he had visited Pakistan more often than any other country.

He said in very near future the Arab style movement could hit the streets of Pakistan due to rapid growth of extremism.
