Google Play Music Family Plan Launched

Google has finally launched the family plan for its Google Play Music. Under the new service scheme up to six people can share an account with a monthly cost of just $15.

Even though being in a family plan, all the six users are said to be getting individual profiles on Google Play so as to help them keep their own libraries as well as playlists apart from several other interesting features.

Also, any of the six members can make purchases on Google Play and this will go into single payment system.

According to description given by the search giant, after setting up a family group users need to add a family payment method and each member should be responsible for the purchases made on Google Play.

However, no hardware can be purchased through the family payment plan and also users cannot add money to a Google Play account under the service. Android Pay purchases too are barred.

The search giant has enabled in-app purchasing approval by default in the plan and this is something the wise part of the company. This mean the approval of mom or dad is required if kids wants to blow $100 on crystals, coins, or whatever they want.
