Google Rolls Multiple Destinations Feature On Its Maps For Android

Lately Google Maps can tell you about food, gas and other places too to help you stop along your route from one place to another. The feature was much awaited.

The new feature was earlier only made available on the desktop version, but now it has arrived to the mobile devices too, to Android operating system.

Google has just started rolling out the feature and anytime it may reach your mobile device with a new plus icon underneath the directions filed in Maps.

However, it is not yet known whether the search engine giant to roll out support for multiple transportation modes too.

Curious people can sign up for the beta testing program for Maps on Android and get updates as plans of Google get implemented.

Earlier in May Google also announced to be experimenting several ad formats for the Maps product to make users easier in finding businesses while navigating nearby places.

The ad formats may include dropping promoted pins along a route such as coffee shops and gas stations.

If you don’t see the roll out update in few days it is suggested to update Google Maps for Android (version 9.21).

It is also hoped Google may soon release the features for iOS.
