The Huawei Honor 8 has just arrived, ahead of the much, long-rumored Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphone, giving an option to buyers of a cheaper alternative.

Huawei Unviled Honor Note 8 At Half The Price Of Samsung Galaxy Note 5

Honor is a sister company of Huawei and it unveiled its Note 8 today. The device sports a 6.6-inch screen of 2K resolution and comes with a powerful battery of 4500mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 meanwhile is rumored to sport a 5.7-inch screen and is to be fueled by about 4,000mAh battery.

The Huawei Honor 8 is powered by an eight-core Kirin 955 processor and 4GB of RAM where the Galaxy Note 7 would be equipped with Snapdragon 820 guts.

Huawei said the price of its Honor 8 would be around $346 for a 32GB model and the 128GB version to cost customers around $421.

The pricing part is impressive as the Note predecessor, Galaxy Note 5, was tagged at about $700 for a 32GB model.

Samsung didn’t launched Note 6 and is said to be jumping to Note 7.

As of now the Honor 8 would be made available exclusive in China. On August 16 the company would have a special launch event in San Francisco.
