Hyderabad cops encounters Disha’s rape and murder accused

Hyderabad police shot dead all the four gang-rape and murder accused of lady doctor Friday morning in an encounter while recreating the scene.

Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati lauded the action of Hyderabad police saying it is praiseworthy.

Urging the UP police to take inspiration she added, “The action that has been taken by the Hyderabad Police is praiseworthy… In UP, this is happening every day not just in one district but in every district.”

Mixed reactions have poured in and mother of 26-year-old Disha said soul of her daughter must be now at peace after the death of her accused.

Thanking the police she added, “My daughter will not come back, but this is a sigh of relief for us in this hour of grief.”

BJP MP Locket Chatterjee said the action taken by Hyderabad police was good and soul of the victim must be now at peace.

Police said the four accused were taken to the crime scene, where the charred body of the victim was found, in the wee hours of Friday and they attempted to escape.

Disha was brutally raped and murdered in Shamshabad area on November 27. Her charred body was recovered the next morning.
