Consumers are gearing up for the upcoming 10th anniversary offering of Apple – iPhone 8, codenamed as Ferrari and set to launch in September this year.

If believed to analysts, the arrival of anniversary edition phone may turn around fortunes of the iDevice giant drastically. The iPhone 8 may propel revenue and help record sales of 86 millio units in fourth-quarter of 2017.

It is said the iPhone 8 would rake in bigger profits for the iDevice giant and Q4 will be a supercycle in terms of Apple’s smartphone design. The device will be bigger and more successful product than the iPhone 6.

It is not to forget the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus received incredible response as Apple supported bigger 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch screens.

Analysts said, “Consensus calls for 80 million iPhones in F1Q18 (Dec ’17) … only modestly above the iPhone 6 supercycle (75 million). However, we estimate the iPhone 8 will launch into an iOS subscriber base 45-50% larger than the iPhone 6 did and model 86 million iPhones in F1Q18 (from 83 million).”

iOS subscriber base has increased since 2014 and the credit need to be given to the iPhone 6.

A rumor suggests Apple may come up with three iPhone models this year and one may sport OLED display supplied by Samsung.
