Irfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor Legacy – Birth, Death, Carrier

Recently Bollywood and entire India has been morning the loss of two great actors Irfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor. Today, we remember their legacy and talk about their life.

Irfan Khan

Irfan Khan was an Indian film producer and actor who was well known for taking roles that no one else considers and he also worked in several British films and Hollywood movies apart from Bollywood. He had been in this industry for nearly 30 years and had received a lot of awards for acclamation like Filmfare awards in four categories and National Film award.  He has been referred to as one of the best actors that Indian cinema has produced till now. 

Early life and Acting Carrier

Irfan Khan was born on January 9^th, 1966 in the city of Jaipur, Rajasthan. Apart from acting, he was a great cricketer as well. He completed his scholarship degree in masters of arts field from the National School of Drama in New Delhi. He came to Bombay and worked as an air conditioner repair man where he met superstar Rajesh Khanna during one of his gigs. Irfan Khan had struggled very hard to get into this position. In the beginning, he worked in a tire business along with his mother who was a housewife. Irfan died at the age of 53 due to colon infection complexity related to cancer.

His acting career began from television, he did various television shows like Sara Jahan Hamara, Chandrakanta, Chanakya, Bharat Ek khoj, etc. He made his Bollywood debut in 1998 with the movie “Salaam Bombay”. Looking at the amount of love that is going towards him and the condolences towards his family, we can say that he is truly missed and has a huge influence on many.

Rishi Kapoor

When the world was barely recovering from the loss of Irfan Khan, we lost another gem of an actor, Rishi Kapoor, at the age of 67. The actor has a legacy that began from his debut lead movie “Bobby” in 1973 and he lost his life at a Mumbai hospital on Thursday morning due to the complexity related to cancer of which he was diagnosed in 2018. Needless to say, the entire b-town is morning his loss and sending their best wishes to his family. After being diagnosed he traveled to New York where his treatment began and he was supposedly recovering until March 2020. 

Early Age and Acting

Rishi Kapoor was born in the area of Chembur, Bombay, India on September 4, 1952. He was a director, producer, and actor. Hews active in the industry for nearly 50 years. He married Neetu Kapoor on January 22, 1988, and had two children, Riddhima Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor. 

His birth name was Rishi Raj Kapoor and he was born in a Punjabi family. He had continuous links to Bollywood. In his early life, he dated another actress called Yasmine before he broke up with her and when he became an adult he fell in love with Neetu Singh during the shoot of his first movie “Bobby”.

Although his first debut movie as a lead was “Bobby” in 1973. His first appearance was in a movie called “Mera Naam Joker” in 1970 which was his father Raj Kapoor’s film.
