ISIS Fighters In Libya Increasing- Obama

The comment comes after Obama told to Fox News in an interview his worst mistake was failing to prepare for the aftermath of the ousting of Libyan leader Col Muammar Gaddafi.

Commander of US Africa command, General David Rodriguez, said in the past year the number of ISIS fighters in Libya has grown between 4,000 and 6,000.

Obama added as they along with their foreign allies as well as partners have made harder for foreign terrorists to enter Syria and Iraq, they have seen an upstick in the count of ISIS fighters in Libya.

The president also insisted they would still defeat the ISIS and focus on the progress of the two countries.

Obama added currently the ISIS is on the defensive in Syria and Iraq.

The core of ISIS in both the countries has shrunk and in the past two years their ranks of fighters are at the lowest levels.
