Justin Bieber Seeking US Citizenship

Justin Bieber is reported seeking a U.S. citizenship after marrying Hailey Baldwin. Born in Ontario, Canada, he has applied for a dual citizenship.

The singer has been living in the United States since he was 13 after his family moved to Atlanta and currently he is splitting his time between Los Angeles, New York City, and Ontario.

The Love Yourself singer owns a $5 million estate in Ontario.

According to USA.gov a person the applicant must have a Permanent Resident (Green) Card for five years or more and his or her age should be 18 years. The applicant should also be able to “read, write, and speak basic English.”

After a person fulfils the above, the person needs to undergo 10-step naturalization process to determine eligibility such as preparing and submitting an N-400 form, having a personal interview, taking the U.S. Naturalization Test and the application for naturalization.

It is learned from media report that the two got married in a civil ceremony on Thursday and both did it without listening to anyone.

A source said both were legally married at a New York City courthouse and soon to have a religious ceremony along with celebration with family and friends.

The courthouse too has confirmed about their marriage and Bieber said, “Thanks for keeping it on the DL.”

However, the 21-year-old model said following the marriage that she doesn’t count herself a married woman yet.

Baldwin added, “I understand where the speculation is coming from, but I’m not married yet!”
