iPhone users have a good reason now to say a hello to Google[NASDAQ:GOOG] as its Android Wear watches have been made compatible with the Apple[NASDAQ:AAPL] device.
Google said on Monday the newly launched LG Watch Urbane is compatible with iOS. More brands with the same facility is coming soon including from the house of Motorola and Huawei.
The Android Wear users need to download and install Android Wear app from App Store to make it work with the iPhone. It will help in pairing the devices to manage notifications and other settings.
It is to take note here the app can only pair with iPhone 5 and above.
Once the app is downloaded and installed, a good number of features are squeezed into the iOS even though there are lots of restrictions from Apple.
It is said the Android Wear can easily support fitness tracking, Google Now, notifications and some more with the app.
The LG[NYSE:LG] Watch Urbane is priced tagged about $278, which is much less than the Apple Watch. It is also said the price point of upcoming Android Wear watches may further go down as there will be more competition soon with other brands hitting the market.
