The menu cleaning up job is in process at McDonald’s. They are removing artificial preservatives and antibiotics from the processed food brands to treat well to more health-conscious customers.

The global food giant said to be processing items like the Chicken McNuggets without artificial preservatives. Similarly the burger buns would be free of high-fructose corn syrup.

McDonald’s added further on Monday they have take step about a year ahead of schedule in their commitment. Its decision comes at such time when concerns are shown across the world over antibiotic resistance and also the rise of superbugs that fails to be treated with current antibiotics.

The World Health Organization (WHO) had found in 2014 high-level antibiotic resistance in those bacteria too which are responsible for bloodstream infections, and as an aftermath diseases like pneumonia, diarrhea, gonorrhea and urinary tract infections are becoming widespread.

According to McDonald’s spokeswoman Becca Hary, they have earlier got rid of artificial preservative that was used in the cooking oil for McNuggets.

Also, in the past the Egg McMuffins became free of margarine and butter was used instead. Salads too had undergone changes to include spinach and Kale.
