Microsoft Announces Project Scorpio To Break Wall Between PC And Console

Microsoft announced its next generation gaming consoles dubbed as Project Scorpio at the E3 conference. It is equipped eight CPU cores, 4K video support, 6 teraflops of graphics and VR as well.

The tech giant promised the new gaming console could be released during the Holiday of 2017.

If believed to the Microsoft’s head of marketing Aaron Greenberg the Xbox Scorpio will break the wall between console gaming and PC gaming. It will be break from tying down from one machine in any one room.

Greenberg said, “This was really under the vision that Phil Spencer provided… His vision was really about putting the gamer at the center of everything we do. Allowing players to play without boundaries, these walls that existed between PC and console gamers.”

The new machine will be smaller and also come with new technology.

Meanwhile, we need to wait for another one year to witness what is being promised by Microsoft. It will be of course a new era of gaming without getting locked to one machine in one room.
