Tanzania Seeking Kenyan Market To Showcase Industrial Products

Kenyan middle class is now one of the fastest growing in East African region and this has come as an opportunity for Tanzanian manufacturers to showcase and sell their products.

A four-day expo has been organized from April 25 in the Kenyan capital city Nairobi for the Tanzania manufacturers in industrial sector to showcase their products to Kenyan consumers.

Talking to the media the Tanzanian High Commissioner to Kenya, Pindi Chana, said the expo will provide a platform to Tanzanian manufacturers to create more awareness of their products and services to general public and private sector in Kenya.

The event is being organized by Tanzania’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation in collaborated with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Marketing and the Tanzania Private Sector.

It is also a part of the effort of Tanzania to implement its foreign policy in the development of certain sectors including investment, tourism, manufacturing and trade.

The event will be a platform to promote Tanzanian tourist destinations too.

Apart from all these, investors of both the countries show their interests for some new partnerships with the manufacturers.

The event is named as Made in Tanzania Week in Kenya.
