The second summit between President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is said to be held by the end of February. Location has been finalized but official announcement is yet to come. It is guessed the two may meet in Vietnam.

The two leaders had earlier met for the first time last year in June in Singapore and talked about denuclearization of Korean peninsula.

Meanwhile, White House press Secretary Sarah Sanders said Trump lately had met North Korean chief nuclear negotiator Kim Yong Chol in his Oval Office and made a lot of progress in denuclearization.

Sanders added the location of their meet has been identified and it would be announced soon.

Before meeting the president the North Korean envoy met Secretary of State Mike Pompeo too. The two had met several times before including in May 2018 in New York.

The meeting is being held at such a time when North Korea has been demanding easing the sanctions while US asks Kim to take steps towards denuclearization of Korean peninsula.

Chol arrived in Washington late Thursday night and Friday’s meeting was important to understand the current temperature of North Korea before a second summit of Trump and Kim.

It is highly hoped the second meeting between the two leaders would emerge successful and Trump could make China denuclearize the Korean peninsula.
