BREAKING: 10 Killed, 20 Injured At Oregon Community College By Gunman

At least 10 people have been killed and 20 others injured after a gunman opened fire little while ago at a southwestern Oregon community college.

The incidence took place at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg that has about 3,000 students. It is about 180 miles south of Portland.

Officials said the gunman is now down and in police custody.

Six agencies immediately responded to the scene after getting a call on 911 about mass casualty shooting at around 10:40 a.m. local time. Those were Douglas County Sheriff’s Department, Oregon State Police, Bureau of Land Management officers as well as police officers from Roseburg, Sutherlin, and Winston.

According to Roseburg Police Sgt. Aaron Dunbar, the shooting was limited to just one classroom in the campus.

There are a total of 17 community colleges in Oregon.
