Britain bans David Beckham from driving

United Kingdom has banned David Beckham from driving for next six months and fined him about $1,200. Last November he busted cruising through London while using his cellphone while driving his Bentley.

The former England soccer team captain admitted the offense appearing Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Thursday and so his driver’s license goes temporarily suspended.

Even though lately Beckham has entered into a lucrative career in US soccer but he is still a fixture in British celebrity culture.

His wife, Victoria Beckham, too has carved out a career in fashion industry.

The Spice Girl and soccer player have homes in posh Holland Park area and Cotswolds in London. The two have lived in Los Angeles too. By next year Beckham is expected to relocate to Florida where he will be heading up his new Major League Soccer team – Inter Miami CF.

The new team is expected to be competing by 2020 season.
