Experts believe the polls may bring to end the decade-long run of Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s Conservatives and bring to power Justin Trudeau’s Liberal Party.

The Liberals may win most of the seats, much beyond the 170 required to form a majority government.

Since 2006, in each of the federal elections, it is found more Canadians are unsupporting conservative parties and leaning towards progressive ones.

There are different visions of Harper and his chief rival Trudeau, son of former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau. Harper is focusing to win the fourth term in order to safeguard his gold of shattering the reputation of Canada as a liberal haven. Trudeau on the other hand opens up the door to immigration.

Harper is favoring smaller government and tight spending where as Trudeau talks about high taxes on the rich to increase spending and boost up the Canadian economy.

Experts say a victory for Trudeau could mean improved relations with the US as he is supporting projects like the Alberta-to-Texas pipeline.

Also, voters will not forget the recent major accountability scandal of CPC.
