Personal care products maker, Helen of Troy Limited (NASDAQ:HELE) released that it surged in profit for the Q1, as revenues rose 11% and margins improved significantly. On the other hand, earnings for the quarter dropped short of analysts’ estimates, while revenues trumped expectations. Moving ahead, the company maintained its financial outlook for the full year. The El Paso, Texas-based company’s first-quarter profit rose to $20.4 million or $0.70 per share from $16.4 million or $0.55 per share last year. CEO Julien Mininberg said, “We had a solid first quarter positioning us well to achieve our annual goals. The quarter was highlighted by a double digit increase in revenue and growth in adjusted diluted earnings per share, in line with our expectations, despite a greater-than-expected impact from foreign currency and the West Coast port disruption.” Helen of Troy Limited (NASDAQ:HELE) stock hit highest price at $93.23, beginning with a price of $93.20 and reported a decrease of -10.68% to close at $86.71 with a day range of $86.20-$93.23. Discount warehouse clubs operator, PriceSmart Inc. (NASDAQ:PSMT) released that a slight drop in profit for the second quarter, as higher operating costs more than offset a double-digit sales growth. San Diego, California-based PriceSmart’s third-quarter profit was $21.2 million or $0.70 per share, compared to $21.3 million or $0.70 per share a year ago. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.72 per share for the quarter. Net warehouse club sales increased 13 percent to $675.3 million from $597.9 million a year ago. The company had 36 warehouse clubs in operation as of May 2015 compared to 33 warehouse clubs a year ago. Shares of PriceSmart Inc. (NASDAQ:PSMT) traded at $95.47 by surging 3.94% with price volatility of 3.70% for a week and 2.51% for a month. Its beta stands at 1.04 times.

Delta Air Lines, Inc. (NYSE:DAL) will enlarge its equity stake in Brazil’s Gol Linhas Aereas Inteligentes SA with a stock buy of around $56M as the struggling discount carrier issues new shares. Gol’s leading shareholder, Fundo de Investimento em Participacoes Volluto, will invest as much as $90M. Delta also will guarantee a term loan with third-party lenders for as much as $300 million, Gol said Friday. “The board of Gol will determine the exact amount of capital increase in Brazilian reais,” the airline said in a statement. Gol is Latin America’s biggest low-fare carrier. Delta Air Lines, Inc. (NYSE:DAL) stock has highest price of $42.72 in last session, beginning with a price of $41.45 and reported an advance of 4.71% to close at $42.46 with a day range of $41.31-$42.72. The stock is going forward its 52-week low with 41.85% and moving down from its 52 week high price with -16.50%.
