Sarah Palin’s Daughter Bristol Palin Marries Medal Of Honor Winner Dakota Meyer

Daughter of 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, Bristol Palin, has tied knot with former US Marine Dakota Meyer, father of her second child and winner of the Medal of Honor in 2011 for saving 36 lives of Marine comrades during an ambush in Afghanistan in 2009.

The two had earlier, about a year ago, called off their wedding plans.

The wedding has been confirmed by Palin’s manager David Martin without giving further information.

Last year in March the 25-year-old reality television personality announced her engagement to Meyer on her blog adding they would marry in couple of months. Two months later, in May, the marriage was called off.

According to Palin, the two had met in 2014 when Meyer came to Alaska for the filming of Amazing America reality television show.

Palin has a 7-year-old son from her previous relationship.

The second child was born in December 23 and earlier this year in January a lawsuit was filed by Meyer to seek joint custody.
